A lovely crisp dry sauvignon blanc that is well supported by ripe tropical & citrus fruit flavours.

Brilliant colour with a pale yellow tint and green hues; fresh

aromas of white flowers and fruits, with a soft finish.

Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc 2013

This would leave most Chilean and New Zealand Sauvignon trailing in its wake. The ripe green fruits and dry finish makes it a great all-rounder.

Flor de Crasto is a young, fruit driven wine. With no oak contact, this wine is accessible at an early age, combining the character of great fruit with a very fresh and young palate.

This is full, juicy, with rich, chunky blackberry fruit. A very fruit driven Shiraz that is fresh and fruity despite being full-bodied and rich.


23. Bodegas Abel Mendoza Jarrarte Rioja, Spain 

Bottle: €28    2013

 On the nose, the aromas of earthy mushroom are classic Rioja. Blackcurrant and blueberry notes blossom on the mid-palate, with supple tannins and great balance. Persistent and mineral-laden, it finishes with lingering notes of kirsch. This is a wine with real finesse

 

24. Domaine luc lapeyre L’Amourrer France

Lovely bouquet, rich concentrated ripe tannins. Beautifully balanced and quite complex.
